About the Author

Dr. Pradeep Babanrao Wagh

Dr. Pradeep Babanrao Wagh was born in Jhansi, Uttarpradesh, India. He completed his schooling in year 1969 from Jhansi and then went on to do his B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, in 1974. Thereafter, he did his Master of Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand in 1977.

He did his Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from IMDR, Pune and in Finance from Bombay University. Dr. Wagh has 17 years of Industrial experience. From 1993 onwards, he is fulltime devoted to Development Education (International) Society, DEIS, Pune, India, as its Founder Secretary General.

DEIS is a non-profit organization devoted to empowerment of youth and women. Details of this are available at:

He was awarded a Ph.D. in the year 2006 for his above work by Zoroastrian College under auspices of All India Shah Behram Baug Society an NGO in special consultative status with UNESCO. 

Dr. Pradeep Wagh, was nominated as President - Rotary Club of Pune, Shivajinagar in 2016-17. A major achievement during his presidency was that he organised a

Another major achievement during his presidency was that Dr. Wagh accomplished a Global Grant Project, GGP of USD 40,000 from The Rotary Foundation, TRF.

Since childhood Dr. Wagh has grown up in a God loving and spiritual environment. In 1994, in an eerie experience, Dr. Wagh felt some sublime thoughts emerging from deeper precincts of his inner consciousness. He felt as if these were emerging as a result of blessings of his spiritual Guru Satguru Shri Chile Maharaj. This process continued for several years.

In 1998, he received inspiration to compile these into a trilogy:
1. Sita Shakti Kavya i.e., Sita's Empowerment Anthology.
2. Radha Bhakti Sudha i.e., Radha's Devotional Anthology.
3. Maha Laxmi Mukti Sanwad i.e., Maha Laxmi's Dialogues of  Emancipations.

In this process, He also felt that he got grace of Goddess Sita, Goddess Radha and Goddess Maha Laxmi. These anthologies went on to win international awards in USA and Europe . Details of this are available on this website www.sita-radha-laxmi.org

In 2004, Dr.Wagh was decorated with the honour of 'Sahitya Shiromani' i.e. Literally Jewel, by the Akhil Bharatiya Hindi Sevi Sansthan, Allahabad. 

Sita Shakti Kavya was converted into a dance drama video film. This film went on to win awards at:
1. San Francisco Short Film Festival, 2006
2. Festival De Cine De Granada, 2006

Radha Bhakti Sudha was also converted into a dance drama video film. This film went on to win awards at:
1. New York Short Film Festival , 2008
