Pushpamala1: Introduction

The Guru is indeed 'Brahma'  the creator,
The Guru is indeed 'Vishnu'  the nurturer,
The Guru is indeed 'Maheshwara' the destroyer,
I salute 'Satguru' the Great Master.

Aum, I offer obeisance at the feet of Lord
Aum, I offer obeisance at the feet of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Narayana
Aum, I offer obeisance at the feet of Satguru.

I pay obeisance at the feet of 'Mahalaxmi'
the timeless divine mother
and the boundless power
The consort of Vishnu
the greatest of Goddesses,
I pay obeisance to You
O! Mother of the universe.

The 64 'Yoginis' (ascetic goddesses)
Are indeed all like sisters,
And mother 'Mahalaxmi'is herself incarnated
Through this 'Mukti Samvad', (dialogue of salvation).
Aum, let 'Shakti' (empowerment) multiply,
Aum, let 'Bhakti' (devotion) shower multiply,
Aum, let 'Mukti' (salvation) be achieved.
(through this anthology)
Aum, Shantih, Shantih, Shantih
Aum, Peace, Peace, Peace

So ends Pushpamala 1
Aum,  peace peace peace.
